Longer copyright terms

"The justification from an economic perspective is absolutely baseless."
Lawrence Lessig

And yet ... something tells me it'll go through.

  • one-liners from Lessig do nothing for me anymore. I listened to a couple of podcasts of speeches he gave at various conferences in which he spoke like a doomsayer.

you already know I approve of the concept of legally-binding contracts on physical appliances of abstract ideas is bogus. the way Larry talks, you get the feeling that the very idea of copyright is the root of all evil and is destroying and killing thousands of orphans.

  • correction:

"you already know I approve of the concept of legally-binding contracts on physical appliances of abstract ideas." period. end-of-thought. declarative sentence.

    drop the "is bogus" part.
